I have given presentations on a number of things – from UX design to working on long-form journalism to managing a design team. My experience at Work & Co., and previously at the Washington Post, has given me a unique outlook on creating digital products and strategy. Developing new concepts versus building upon existing ones is vastly different, but I find that thinking from both ends of that spectrum can enhance the process.
At Work & Co., I’m a hands-on leader who shapes the direction of digital products for a variety of clients. As a company, we push existing experiences and create new products that people love to use. My background at the Washington Post includes hands-on design and leadership with creating news consumption experiences, managing and evolving digital products, and leveraging technology and design to build great user experiences across the brand.
I get much of my inspiration from the talented designers, thought-leaders and amazing writers who set the bar within their respective industries. Whether I'm sharing my experiences or learning from others, I always leave conferences feeling recharged and inspired to make a bigger impact with my work.
